| The West Lancashire Mark Ball was held at the | |
| Preston Marriott on Saturday 27th October and was | |
| was attended by an almost capacity 178 brethren | |
| ladies and friends. | |
| Paul Snape and Sally were ably assisted by Anne | |
| and Steve Grand and Jennifer and John Bicknell | |
| in creating a nice ambience. | |

| The meal was four excellent courses and provided the | |
| energy for dancing to Pyramid who really excel at this | |
| type of event. | |
| There was music for the mambo enthusiasts the | |
| ballroom trotters and the gentle jigglers. There was | |
even a spot of gentle but capable jiving. |
